SAT is a standardized test and is an admissions requirement for most Under Graduate colleges in the USA. In addition to a good SAT score, there are other factors such as high school GPA, academic achievements, extracurricular activities, letter of recommendation and statement of purpose which play a vital role for students to achieve admission into top Universities.
SAT is administered by College Board; the examination is entirely a paper-based Test.

SAT Score Distribution:
The score distribution of SAT in each section is as follows
- Reading Test & Writing & Language Test – 200 – 800 with an increment of 10
- Math Test (Calculator & No Calculator Section) – 200 – 800 with an increment of 10
- Essay – 2 – 8, with an increment of 1
SAT score is valid for five years.
