What You Need to Book Your Exam
- Ensure you have a valid identification document, such as a Passport or Emirates ID, readily available.
- ID details must be provided during registration and presented on test day for validation. No need to upload a copy online.
- Test takers without valid ID on test day will be unable to take the test and ineligible for refunds or transfers.
- Candidates under 18 require written consent from a parent or guardian to apply. The IELTS test is not recommended for those under 16.
- Special Requirements - For any special needs, opt for the paper-based exam. Contact the center for further assistance.

- Cancel more than 5 weeks before your test date? Refund issued minus a 25% administrative fee.
- Less than 5 weeks? No refund unless you have a valid medical reason.
- Submit a medical certificate within 5 days of the test to receive your refund (admin fees apply).
- Reschedule at least 5 weeks in advance. A small fee applies, minus admin charges.
- Less than 5 weeks? You’ll need medical proof to avoid forfeiting the IELTS exam fee Dubai.

You’ll need to send your original Test Report Form (TRF) back to the test center.
If your scores improve after the re-mark, you’ll receive a brand-new TRF, and up to 5 free copies can be sent to institutions within a month. However, if the score remains the same, no refund is issued, and the decision is final.
